The North Fork River winds through the farmlands of Liberty ending at North Fork Park. The park maintains trails for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. It’s the venue of the Roots and Blues Festival in August that brings in bands from all over the country.
Towering over North Fork Park is the famed Ben Lomond Peak, that was the inspiration for the Paramount Pictures logo. It’s a strenuous hike to the top but worth the effort spanning through fern groves and alpine pockets. Liberty is open and private.
Land is often times handed down from generation to generation. There are new subdivisions in the past ten years that have been popular. The North Ogden Divide allows for easy access to Weber High School, where the Valley teens go.
